About The Event
Have you ever wanted to learn pottery? Now is your chance to put yourself first and create some magical pieces before Christmas time!
5 lessons (2 hours each for a total of 10 hours) consecutive Mondays evenings.
Time: from 7 pm to 9pm
What you'll learn: the 3 main hand-building techniques pinching, coiling and slabbing. Underglazing and glazing techniques. Theory about different types of clay, temperatures, different glazes and the basics of pottery.
What you'll get (included):
- 4 very special pottery pieces that you made with your hands
- A pdf guide with the basics and theory of hand building pottery to keep for when you want to start making your own pottery at home
- A Whatsapp group (optional and no spam, only 1 message a week) to inspire you with pottery creations (images and short videos on making processes and social media suggestions) and course updates
- This course is for you if you are interested in building your ceramics skills, making multiple pieces and being part of a creative and passionate community.
