About The Event
The Little Pottery Academy is open!
We will be making a wonderful range of hand building pottery pieces.
The program has been built for the kids to have fun but also to truly learn the basic of pottery.
Learning materials will be provided each lesson with description of what we will be doing and the technique we will be using.
The theme of the course is what is recommended but doesn’t have to be fully followed. These means that kids will have freedom of choice for what to make, using the main 3 hand building techniques like slabbing, coiling and pinching.
Also a large variety of decoration techniques will be explained like botanicals pressed on clay, sgraffito, carving, painting with underglaze, dipping and brush on glazes and so on.
